ACDBL Tournament Success!

The ACDBL Singles tournaments have taken place over the last two weeks and a we are proud to say a good number of LJBC members entered, in all age categories, U10s, U12s, U14s, U16s and U18s. Well done to all of our members who entered. You represented the club very well and looked smart in the club kit. For a number of those who entered, it was their first experience of a singles tournament, which will help them develop their game further and gain confidence in a competitive environment. Noteable success from U12s boys - James and Kehar were group winners, Shay and Finn were group runners-up and all progressed to semi-finals. James won his semi-final, then went on to play the final, narrowly losing a hard fought battle, 21-17.

Leo won his group in the U14 age group, progressing to the semi-finals but unfortunately lost this game.

We also had success with Tanisha and Lewis in the U16 age group. Tanisha came runner-up in her group and Lewis won his group. Both advanced to the semi-finals but unfortunately lost their games; each to the overall winner of the tournament. Well done everyone - lots still to work on but all showing huge promise. Roll on the next tournament! :)
